The Highland Park house at 370 Beech St. with the famous garage from Ferris Bueller’s Day Off, where (Spoiler Alert!) the Ferrari drives itself out the glass wall into the ravine, is back on the market at a reduced price of $1.5 MM. Come on. The bragging rights alone are worth $1.5 MM. And since the house was first listed it’s undergone some significant renovations as highlighted in the revised description below:

- Price reduced on November 3, 2009 to $1.8 MM (that’s a huge cut)
- Price reduced again on July 2, 2010 to $1.65 MM
- Essentially taken off the market on February 5, 2011
- Relisted yesterday at this new price of $1.5 MM
I’m actually relieved to see that they stuck with the same realtor. As long as the realtor is working it I don’t see any reason to switch realtors. Contrary to popular opinion (and the marketing pieces of various realtors) realtors have very little ability to sell a house if the demand is just not there.
