West Town Housing Market

After a brutal winter, spring, and summer in 2009 West Town's condo inventory has declined substantially, with February levels much better than last year. This improvement is due entirely to higher sales levels. In addition, like in most of the Chicago neighborhoods, West Town's market times have been trending down during 2009 after rising throughout 2008. They are now below 150 days.

Note that the MLS changed their reporting methodology for market times, affecting data back to October 2007.
