Rogers Park looks like another Chicago neighborhood where condo inventory levels got pretty ugly in the fall and winter of 2008 - surpassing a 4 year supply. However, as we entered the spring selling season in 2009 home inventories dropped quite a bit and continued to improve through April of 2010, when they reached the best levels of 4 years. However, as in other Chicago neighborhoods, the situation deteriorated again in May and June and we are now back above the levels of last year, approaching a 20 month supply.

The market time in Rogers Park has also improved after rising throughout 2008 but they are still quite high - in excess of 300 days.

Note that the MLS has changed their methodology for reporting market times, affecting all data after October 2007.
