North Center is not a huge condo market so there is a great deal of variability in the months of inventory as sales fluctuate. Through a large part of 2009 condo inventory in North Center was running considerably higher than 2008. However, lately it has improved considerably over the previous year. As of March 1, 2010, inventory of 2- 3 bedroom condos is running at just above a 5 month supply, which is half of last year's level.

Meanwhile the number of days that homes remain on the market is in a considerable downward trend after remaining relatively flat for the last 2 years. However, since this decline is only evident in the last 2 months it may increase after the fact as many contracts fall through and these homes return to the market.

Note that the MLS changed their methodology for reportingmarket times, affecting data since October 2007.
