Logan Square Housing Market

The Logan Square real estate market was considerably better throughout 2009 than the previous year and 2010 was improving until May, when the tax credit expired. Now the supply of 2 - 3 bedroom condos is back up to a 17 month supply as a result of substantially lower contract activity.

Logan Square is another neighborhood where market times haved improved during 2009 after trending steadily upward during 2008. Market times are much better than the peaks in excess of 300 days but they are still high at 250 days.

Note that the MLS changed their reporting methodology for market times, affecting data back to October 2007.
