Lincoln Park Housing Market

As of March 1, 2010 we looked at 2 -3 bedroom condos in Lincoln Park. Like most of the city, Lincoln Park market times have dropped dramatically this year, falling from a peak of over 250 days to almost 100 days.

Note that the MLS changed their market time reporting methodology in October, 2007.

After last year's horrendous fall and winter Lincoln Park's condo inventory has settled down quite a bit. Sales are running substantially ahead of last year even though December home inventory levels are essentially unchanged in absolute terms from last year. In fact, the December months supply of condos is better than it has been in the last 2 years. However, with a 10 month supply of homes right now it should be apparent that Lincoln Park is not immune to the demise of the housing market - contrary to popular folklore.
